about

Sound Show recorded songs from services at the Full Gospel Tabernacle on 1/5/13 and 1/6/13. Nobody ever told us the titles of the songs, so we're labelling them all as "Untitled" and extrapolating something from the lyrics.

That night, the music came in waves of rock and roll, rockabilly, blues and gospel, in what seemed like a nonstop torrent, songs bleeding into one another, no clear distinction between the band and the audience, tambourines and crackling drums and howling electric guitar in a surround sound amid stamping feet and playing children. Meanwhile, venomous snakes sat in closed boxes on the church stage, waiting to play their role.
